One Week in Europe

In the summer of 2026, I spent ten days traveling through Amsterdam (to visit family) and Copenhagen (for sightseeing). Though I spent time with family for the first half of the trip, I found myself in a state of wandering, with camera and tablet in hand, around these picturesque cities whenever I could. After returning home, I realized my phone was full of pictures of two things: food and buildings. These digital paintings document core memories from my wanderings, through the lens of a good meal or coffee. The act of painting unlocks a specific moment, feeling, gathering, or day that is special to me in some way.
