Southbay, a local lifestyle magazine, was in need of a refresh. They had been using the same logo for more than a decade. In conjunction with an editorial redesign, I presented several new logo options and cover designs to the team.
All my concepts stayed true to the beach city aesthetic, with an added level of sophistication and modernity. The final logo and cover are a step above (but still reminiscent) of the original. The redesign was implemented across all of Southbay's media platforms.
